UCSF - Institute For Health and Aging

The Institute for Health and Aging (IHA) at the University of California, San Francisco acts as the coordinating site for the ten centers. It provides a comprehensive evaluation of the CADCs, conducts joint site visits with the California Department of Public Health, and coordinates and conducts an annual planning conference. These functions enable the centers to collaborate, which strengthens their overall impact on clinical care, education and health policy to best meet the needs of Californians with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias and their families, and to help maintain the programs excellence over time.
