Our core has developed concepts and measures (applied measurement research) in several broad areas that are key determinants of health disparities in older adults: quality of health care (interpersonal processes, cultural sensitivity); race/ethnicity and social class; and several social determinants of health disparities including social support, childhood social and economic circumstances, neighborhood factors affecting health, and perceived discrimination.  Some of this measurement research was done by the Analysis Core team and some by our CADC scholars with our technical support.  Also, some of this work was accomplished with core funding and some by leveraging our expertise to obtain independent funding.  We provide resources on concepts and measures of the following:
