Elizabeth Rojo, MA is the Project Director for the Multiethnic Health Equity Research Center and the Center for Aging in Diverse Communities at UCSF. She leads the research portfolio and other programmatic initiatives within both centers.

Elizabeth’s passion for social development and global affairs brought her to the University of California where she has worked in various capacities over the years at both, UC Berkeley and UCSF. She has extensive experience in health and education program management.   Her educational background is in International Relations (MSc) from IE School of International Relations in Madrid and has a research background focused on women’s issues in Ghana per the Millennium Development Goals. She has special research interest in implementation science and has worked internationally developing and growing projects in places like Mexico, Tanzania, Ghana, and the US.  Elizabeth is also fluent in Spanish, intermediate in French and beginner in Swahili.
